Description

A cacophony of sound: jingling coins, whirling slots, rattling dice, and the clinks of glasses, underlie the constant murmuring wave of conversation in Auntie Up's Casino. Shades of dark golds and browns on the walls and carpet make the lights of the games seem that much brighter, and they do a lot to hide the blood and other stains on them.

Demons and undead man the games and serve the drinks. Roulette, Craps, Blackjack, Poker, Keno, you name it, they have it here. Slot machines cover every free inch of the casino, which seems to have gone minimal on decor but high class on the beverages available for the supernatural palate. Gri'ah and Kaliff bouncers are around at all times, as well as spells and psychics monitoring for cheating. One wall of the main room is a one way window looking out into the bay.

Background

In 1931, two years after the earthquake that rocked Eldritch, a psychic drag queen calling herself Auntie Up built and opened a casino in Diversion Point. Wanting a place for people to have fun away from the depression following the quake, Auntie Up’s provided fun and excitement and a way to fill Auntie’s pockets with money. She still runs it to this day, looking as fabulous as ever, though the shine is a bit dimmer on the establishment after the wear and tear of the decades.
